EY 1 (Mr Rafael) 

This spring term, we welcomed new friends and made new connections in class. During circle time, we sang songs together. Our theme focused on colors, fruits, and animals—talking about what we like and don’t like.

Students practiced saying “I like / I don’t like ~.” We played a game called “Pass the Colored Ball,” where students said, “I like / I don’t like (color).” We also went outside to the playground. For letter recognition, we learned the letters A and B. At the end of the class, we started a craft, which we will finish next week. Everyone had a fun day. See you next week!
今学期は新しいお友だちを迎え、クラスで新しいつながりが生まれました。サークルタイムでは歌を歌いました。テーマは「色・果物・動物」で、「好き・嫌い」について学びました。 「I like / I don’t like ~」の表現を練習し、「Pass the Colored Ball」というゲームを通して、「I like / I don’t like（色）」と言う活動を行いました。 また、外遊びとして公園にも行きました。 文字学習では、AとBを学びました。 最後にはクラフトを始め、来週完成させる予定です。 みんな楽しく過ごすことができました。来週もお待ちしています！

EY 2 (Ms Guitar) 

Since it was the first day of the spring term and we had new friends joining us, we introduced ourselves and did icebreaker activities to get to know each other. During theme time, we started the topic “Who Am I?” and practiced describing ourselves. We also learned how to greet and introduce ourselves when meeting someone for the first time. Then, we created our “All About Me” posters. For phonics, we reviewed the alphabet (A–Z) and learned the sounds of A and B. We also used chopsticks to find hidden alphabet letters in rice grains as a fun review activity. During fun learning time, students drew self-portraits by looking in the mirror. For our craft, they used yarn to decorate their hair on their drawings.
春学期初日ということもあり、新しいお友だちを迎えて、自己紹介やアイスブレイク活動を行いました。 テーマの時間では「Who Am I?（私はだれ？）」を学び、自分について説明する練習をしました。また、初めて会う人へのあいさつや自己紹介の仕方も学びました。その後、「All About Me」ポスターを作成しました。 フォニックスでは、アルファベット（A〜Z）を復習し、AとBの音を学びました。また、お米の中に隠れたアルファベットを箸で探す活動を通して、楽しく復習を行いました。

アクティビティの時間には、鏡を見ながら自画像を描きました。クラフトでは、毛糸を使って髪の毛を表現しました。

EY 3 (Mr Toby) 

We started with self-introductions and reviewed our classroom rules. We then reviewed body parts and played a fun “Simon Says” game. During snack time, we introduced family members and practiced new vocabulary, followed by a “Four Corners” game using the words we learned. We also began working on our workbook and practiced reading simple sentences. After lunch, we watched the Artemis II splashdown and talked about traveling around the moon. The students then drew portraits of their family members and took them home to share with you. We ended the day with our goodbyes.

本日は、自己紹介とクラスルールの確認からスタートしました。その後、体の部位を復習し、「Simon Says（サイモンセイズ）」ゲームを楽しみました。スナックタイムでは、家族の呼び方を学び、新しい語彙の練習を行った後、「Four Corners」ゲームで復習しました。また、ワークブックに取り組み、簡単な文章を読む練習も行いました。ランチの後は、アルテミスIIの着水映像を見て、月の周りを旅することについて話しました。その後、家族の似顔絵を描き、ご家庭で見ていただくために持ち帰りました。最後はお別れのあいさつで一日を締めくくりました。

We were very excited to welcome students to the Spring Term 2026! We started the day with the story “All Are Welcome,” which explores learning in a diverse school environment, and played English games to get to know each other. Our theme for the beginning of the term is talking about ourselves and introducing friends. In Language class, students completed an “All About Me” writing activity, then interviewed their classmates and took turns introducing them to the class. For many students, it was their first time introducing a friend, but they were very brave and did an excellent job. In the afternoon, the weather was beautiful, so students went outside to play with other classes. After lunch, they finished their writing and decorated vases for their spring flowers. It was a lovely day filled with learning and friendship.
2026年春学期がスタートし、生徒たちを迎えることができてとても嬉しく思います。最初に、多様な学校環境について学ぶ絵本「All Are Welcome」を読み、英語のゲームを通してお互いを知る活動を行いました。今学期の最初のテーマは「自分について話すこと」と「友だちを紹介すること」です。Languageの時間には「All About Me」のライティングに取り組み、その後クラスメイトにインタビューを行い、順番に紹介しました。多くの生徒にとって初めての友だち紹介でしたが、みんな勇気を持ってとてもよく頑張りました。午後は天気が良かったため、他クラスと一緒に外遊びを楽しみました。ランチ後はライティングを仕上げ、春の花を飾るための花瓶のデコレーションを行いました。学びと友だちとの交流にあふれた素敵な一日となりました。

Welcome back to KIS Saturday PY5! This term, we will be learning about ourselves and our families. During our class meeting, we established classroom rules and listened to self-introductions from around the world. We then learned about WH questions and created our own questions for our new classmates. Students interviewed each other and introduced their partners to the class. After lunch, we began our “Who Am I?” project by discussing our interests and drawing self-portraits. There are so many exciting things to learn this term. See you next week!

Welcome back everyone, and a warm welcome to our new students! This spring term promises to be exciting, with a new curriculum and many surprises ahead. We hope students will grow through fun learning experiences and continue to develop their English skills and personal expression. This week, we began a two-week unit on “Who We Are.” Students explored their identities, what makes them unique, how they have changed over time, and their hopes for the future. We discussed physical appearance in the past and present and imagined how it might change in the future. Students showcased their creativity by drawing self-portraits of themselves in the future. In Language Focus, we learned about the origins of the Olympic Games, how they were revived, and how they expanded to include women athletes and the Winter Games. See you next week!

Today was the last day of the winter term, and everyone did their best.
For our theme, we learned about opposites such as big and small, tall and short. We sang songs and danced about animals. We read a storybook about animals and completed worksheets about big and small animals. For language focus, the students finished matching uppercase letters with lowercase letters.
At the end of the day, they made a snake craft and took home their notebooks from this winter term. They had so much fun today! See you again in the spring!

今日は冬学期の最終日でした。子どもたちはみんな最後まで一生懸命頑張りました。
テーマでは、big / small、tall / short などの反対語について学びました。動物の歌を歌ったり、ダンスをしたりして楽しみました。
動物のストーリーブックを読み、大きい動物・小さい動物についてのワークシートにも取り組みました。言語学習では、大文字と小文字のアルファベットをマッチさせる活動を完成させました。最後にはヘビのクラフトを作り、冬学期のノートを持ち帰りました。とても楽しい一日になりました！また春学期に会いましょう！

EY 2 (Ms Guitar) 

Today we reviewed what we have been studying this season about different kinds of animals. We played a game where students found animal cards hidden in the classroom and placed them in the correct habitats (house, farm, or zoo).
We also visited the library and read a book together. During phonics time, we reviewed A–Z phonics sounds and matched alphabet letters with pictures that had the same beginning sounds. For fun learning time, we had a Six Bricks class with EY3. Students touched items that had the same color as the LEGO brick within a time limit. We also worked in groups to make the longest domino line using LEGO bricks.
今日は今学期に学んできたさまざまな動物について復習しました。

Today we started the class with self-introductions. Students introduced themselves by saying their names and sharing a few things they like, such as their favorite foods, sports, or anime. After introductions, we reviewed basic vocabulary, including the days of the week, months of the year, and different types of weather. We then played a fun game of Simon Says before snack time.

After our break, we reviewed animals and their habitats, talking about where different animals live. Students then completed the final worksheets for the term, which focused on using the phrase “I want…” in sentences.

After lunch, the students had time to play outside and enjoy the fresh air. During the final 40 minutes of class, we reflected on what we learned, sang songs together, and said our goodbyes.
今日は自己紹介からクラスをスタートしました。子どもたちは自分の名前や、好きな食べ物・スポーツ・アニメなどを紹介しました。

その後、曜日や月、天気などの基本的な語彙を復習しました。おやつの前には「Simon Says」のゲームをして楽しみました。

休憩の後には、動物とその住んでいる場所について復習し、それぞれの動物がどこに住んでいるかを話しました。その後、「I want…」を使った文を書くワークシートに取り組み、今学期最後のワークを完成させました。

Today was our last class of the winter term.
We watched a Sesame Street video about friendship and talked about how to be a good friend. In Language class, we reviewed how to write grammatically correct sentences and completed a writing review. The students had a lot of energy today, so for movement time we joined “Danny Go!” After lunch, we went outside for playtime and played some English games. A special thank you to the parents who came to our Celebration of Learning today. Have a wonderful Spring Break!

今日は冬学期最後のクラスでした。 Sesame Streetの友情についてのビデオを見て、「良い友だちとはどのような行動をするのか」について話し合いました。

Today we watched a video about places we can visit during the holidays and discussed different activities we can do there. For example, going to the beach, eating ice cream, or canoeing. We also explored a new type of book called a “katydid.”
今日は休暇中に行くことができる場所についてのビデオを見て、そこでできる活動について話し合いました。例えば、海に行く、アイスクリームを食べる、カヌーをするなどの活動です。

また、「katydid」という新しいタイプの本についても学びました。

PY5 & Group C (Mr Julian) 

Thank you very much to the parents and guardians who came to our Celebration of Learning today. The students were excited to see you and to show what they have been studying this term. Well done everyone! In Language class today, we learned about the Triple Crown in horse racing. It included some challenging vocabulary and comprehension questions. In the second class, we learned about the iconic baobab trees that grow in Africa. We also heard some mythic stories about them, and students took turns storytelling by adding to the myths they created together.

We reviewed animals and talked about height and size, such as tall, short, big, and small. During our language focus, students chose letters they like and looked for the letter the teacher said. They also matched big and small alphabet letters and practiced their pencil control again.

Today we continued talking about opposites in the animal world. We learned the new words fast and slow, then watched a video to discuss which animals move fast and which move slowly. After that, we learned about heavy and light by using a balance scale with toys to see which side was lower, showing which side was heavier. During phonics time, we reviewed all the letter sounds and matched balls to the correct sounds. Then we practiced some initial sound words for each letter. During fun learning time, we had Six Bricks where we threw a ball to knock down the called-out animal LEGO towers. For a craft, we made a long paper snake.

Today we continued learning about animals and their habitats. After circle time and a snack, we reviewed the many different habitats in the world and what types of animals live there. We then helped some of our new animal friends find their homes during an in-class safari. We learned our sight word of the day, “have,” and shared what types of things we have at home. After lunch, we made posters of our favorite animals and where they live. Thank you to all the parents who came to our class visit today. I hope you will celebrate with your students their growth in English this quarter!

We have been learning about predators and prey. We started the day by reading a nonfiction book about saltwater crocodiles. We were surprised to learn that crocodiles have lived since the time of the dinosaurs! In Language class, we reviewed everything we have learned this term and took turns reading with the teacher. After lunch, we went to the gym for free time. Some students played badminton, while others played with balls and hula hoops. In the afternoon, we watched a Learn Bright video titled “Habitats for Kids” and learned about different kinds of habitats. At the end of the day, we had letter painting in Art and played some English games.
「捕食者（predators）と獲物（prey）」について学習しています。この日は、まず塩水ワニについてのノンフィクションの本を読みました。ワニが恐竜の時代から生きていることを知り、子どもたちはとても驚いていました。Languageの時間には今学期に学んだ内容を復習し、先生と順番に音読を行いました。昼食後は体育館で自由時間を過ごし、バドミントンをしたり、ボールやフラフープで遊んだりしました。午後には「Habitats for Kids」というLearn Brightの動画を見て、さまざまな生き物の生息地について学びました。最後にアートの時間ではレターペインティングを行い、英語のゲームも楽しみました。

We did a little reading on bats and learned why they sleep upside down. With the upcoming spring season, we also learned some new words from a word search such as blossoms, frogspawn, and growth. During break time, we built many block structures in the sand.
コウモリについての読み物を読み、なぜ逆さまにぶら下がって眠るのかを学びました。また、春の季節に向けて、word searchを使いながら blossoms（花）、frogspawn（カエルの卵）、growth（成長）などの新しい単語も学びました。休み時間には砂場でブロックを使い、さまざまな建物や形を作って遊びました。

We learned more in depth about predators, prey, and the food chain. We also prepared for the Celebration of Learning Festival next week. We are looking forward to seeing the parents then! In Language class, we learned about the Aboriginal people of Australia and their cave paintings. In the second class, we learned about musk oxen, relatives of the goat family that live in Canada and Greenland, and how they defend themselves against predators.

A fun day on this last day of February. Today’s theme was animals. The students learned about opposites such as tall/short and big/small. We sang songs about these opposites and also read a big book together. They also learned about social development—sharing toys and helping friends after playing is a kind and thoughtful action. During fun time, we went to the music room with square mats, where we did yoga and played an action game. Finally, for craft time, they made a turtle craft. It was a fun day! See you next week!

Today we started a new topic about opposites in the animal world. We learned new vocabulary such as big/small, long/tall/short, and loud/quiet. Then we discussed which animals are big, small, tall, or short. After that, we did a LEGO measuring activity. We walked around the room measuring animal pictures using LEGO bricks and recorded the numbers on paper. During phonics time, we reviewed the A–Z phonics sounds and matched the initial sounds from V–Z with the correct pictures. For fun learning time, we joined Mr. Rafael and EY1 to stretch our bodies with yoga. During craft time, we made giraffe headbands and tore paper into small pieces to recreate the giraffe skin pattern.

For theme time, we quickly reviewed the animal habitats we learned before and talked about animals that live in them. We also introduced more habitats such as the ocean and farm. Students worked as a team to place the animals in their correct habitats. Then we moved on to the sight word “like” and shared what colors, characters, and foods we like. After that, we had PE time, where we practiced bouncing a ball. We also had craft time and learned different ways to draw lines.

テーマタイムでは、これまでに学んだ 動物の住む場所（ハビタット） を簡単に復習し、そこに住む動物について確認しました。また、海や農場などの新しいハビタットも紹介しました。子どもたちはチームで協力し、動物をそれぞれの正しい場所に置く活動をしました。その後、サイトワード 「like」 を学び、自分の好きな色・キャラクター・食べ物について発表しました。 その後は体育（PE）の時間で、ボールをバウンドさせる練習をしました。また、クラフトの時間では、いろいろな線の描き方を学びました。

We had a great day in PY4 today. We started with a review of the different habitats and animals we have learned about this term. We also incorporated new action words we have been learning into a fun English game. The students then wrote about their “dream day” at the park. We have been focusing on writing proper sentences using capital letters and correct punctuation. In the afternoon, we had music and movement time and a painting lesson about primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. The students have become good friends and had a lot of fun together.

今日はPY4クラスでも楽しい一日を過ごしました。まず、今学期に学んできたさまざまなハビタットと動物について復習しました。また、最近学んでいるアクションワードを使った英語ゲームも行いました。その後、「公園での夢の一日」というテーマで作文を書きました。大文字の使い方や正しい句読点を意識して文章を書くことに取り組んでいます。午後にはミュージック＆ムーブメントの時間と、三原色・二次色・三次色について学ぶ絵画レッスンを行いました。子どもたちは仲良くなり、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました。

Today we did another reading practice about Aesop. We learned about who he was and what he did, especially how he told stories that we now know as Aesop’s Fables. We also practiced listening exercises about daily life and activities, similar to the listening level of EIKEN Grade 3.

今日はイソップについてのリーディング練習を行いました。イソップがどんな人物だったのか、そして彼が語った物語が現在「イソップ寓話」として知られていることを学びました。また、日常生活の活動についてのリスニング練習も行い、英検3級レベルに近い内容の練習にも挑戦しました。

Today in the PYP5 class, we learned about predators and prey and how they are connected in the food chain.

In the language class, we first learned about penguins in Antarctica and the long process of raising their chicks from eggs. Then we studied the Florida Everglades, also known as the “River of Grass.” We discovered endangered animals that live in this unique ecosystem where freshwater mixes with saltwater.

PYP5クラスでは、捕食者（predators）と被食者（prey）、そして食物連鎖について学びました。言語クラスでは、まず南極に住むペンギンと、卵からヒナを育てる長い子育ての過程について学びました。その後、「草の川」とも呼ばれるフロリダのエバーグレーズについて学びました。淡水と海水が混ざり合うこの独特な生態系に住む絶滅危惧種の動物についても知りました。

Another fun day with a special Lunar New Year theme! The students learned about the 12 animals of the Lunar New Year, and our story time was also about the zodiac animals. They completed a counting worksheet about things we see during the Lunar Festival. Before our special craft, we went outside to play. The children received red envelopes and said, “Gong Xi Fa Cai.” We also had fun playing English games with another class. See you next week!

Today, we celebrated Lunar New Year and read Happy Chinese New Year! to learn about the zodiac animals and their order. We played Zodiac Animals Bingo to review the animals. During phonics time, we learned two new sounds, Y and Z, and completed all the letter sounds. We sorted Y and Z LEGO bricks into the correct towers. Happy Lunar New Year! After circle time and snack, we learned about Lunar New Year. We discussed how it is celebrated in many Asian countries, not only China. We learned the zodiac animals and made a good fortune craft. After lunch, we reviewed pronouns and practiced making sentences with the sight word “he.” Finally, we made greeting cards and talked about the importance of being grateful. Today we warmed up with English circle games. We focused on improving communication skills by playing games using descriptive words and asking and answering questions. In Language class, we completed a shared writing lesson on writing grammatically correct sentences. Students participated well. We read leveled texts in small groups and discussed the stories. We reviewed our “Free Time” unit with a competitive game of Literacy Bingo. After enjoying beautiful weather outside at lunch, we learned about Lunar New Year and joined a special Lunar Art Workshop with Ms. Yuki and Ms. Amanda. The students created beautiful red and gold artwork for their homes. Have a wonderful long weekend!

Today we practiced making questions using “going to,” such as asking about visiting places or meeting people. We reviewed the difference between “is” and “are,” especially for one person versus many people. We also completed a word search about classroom objects.

Today in PY5, we continued our study of carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. We went to the art room, and students created pictures, collages, manga drawings, and paintings to classify animals into these groups. Some students also made Valentine’s Day decorations. We watched videos about insect life cycles and the different light zones of the ocean. In Language Focus classes, we learned about America’s first Black president, Barack Obama, and about the Four Corners Monument, where four U.S. states meet: Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Today during circle time, the kids proudly said their names, how they felt, and their ages. For our theme activity, we had fun playing a freeze dance game and doing animal actions. After lunch, we went to the music room with the other class. The children enjoyed dancing, playing with color sequence bricks, and doing yoga.

For craft time, they did sensory play by printing their painted hands on heart shapes for Valentine’s Day. They also finished their elephant masks. At the end of the day, we asked the children what they enjoyed the most. They said dancing, yoga, and crafts were fun!

We continued learning about zoo and wild animals. We read a book called The Zoo Vet and discussed how wild animals heal themselves, while zoo animals have vets to help them. Then, we watched videos of wild animals helping themselves and each other heal. During language focus, we reviewed phonics sounds from A–T and learned four new sounds from U–X. For fun learning time, we played Red Light, Green Light. We danced when the teacher held up a green LEGO brick and froze when the teacher held up a red LEGO brick. For craft time, we made paper flower bouquets for Valentine’s Day.

Today, our EY3 friends celebrated their love for the animal kingdom. After circle time and snacks, we reviewed the names of many animals. We played an exciting game of Animal Basket! Then, we practiced reading and writing using our sight word of the week, “eat.” We spent time playing basketball and bowling in the gym before returning to the classroom to make Valentine’s gifts for our loved ones at home.

Today in PY4, we began the day by playing English icebreaker games and learning about the tradition of Valentine’s Day. We watched a Valentine’s Day episode of Peppa Pig and talked about kind ways to show people that we care about them. In Language focus, group A finished our unit on “Free Time” from National Geographic Look. We did listening activities, sang songs, and had a mini phonics lesson. After lunch, we went to the gym for playtime, where students played with soccer balls and scooter boards.

During Theme activity, we learned about unique features desert animals have that help them adapt to desert life, and then we wrote about what we learned. For craft, we used stencils to make Valentine’s pictures, and some students made Valentine’s cards. It was a fun and productive day! Many students are becoming less shy and more confident in speaking English.

We tried a reading challenge to learn more about Marco Polo. We read about his time in China as an explorer. He lived there for many years before returning to his home country, where he wrote a book about his travels.

We also learned about the present participle form, where “go” becomes “going.” Students practiced making sentences using this form, such as “going to learn” or “going to clean.”

For our theme, Zoo & Wild Animals, the children learned about what animals eat and watched related materials. We had a simple quiz using animal footprints, their habitats, and their diets as clues. The children enjoyed guessing the animals. For our language focus, we reviewed the alphabet and practiced pencil control. To end our day, the children started coloring an elephant mask craft, which will be finished next week.

We talked about wild animals and learned where they live. We also learned how wild animals survive in the jungle without being fed by humans, unlike animals in zoos. During phonics time, we played a sound-matching game to review phonics sounds from A–P and then learned new sounds from Q–T. During fun learning time, we joined EY1  and learned about the types of food animals eat (meat or plants). For our craft, we finished making our lion!

Today we entered the world of the desert! After circle time and snack time, we learned about two different types of deserts: hot deserts and cold deserts. We also learned about animals that live in each environment, such as scorpions and llamas. Our sight word for the day was “she,” and the children enjoyed making interesting sentences using previously learned sight words. After lunch, we created both hot desert and cold desert scenes and made stick puppets of our new desert animal friends.

Today, we learned about different activities we can do in our free time, such as playing games, writing stories, drawing pictures, and many other fun activities.

For theme learning, we explored the hot deserts, where animals such as camels, fennec foxes, hawks, and zebras live. We also learned about several plants that grow in the desert, such as the Joshua tree, which has roots that grow deep into the ground to reach water. At the end of the day, we enjoyed making origami. We made a rabbit, an elephant, and a fish!

In the PYP5 class today, we learned the differences between carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. The children learned that carnivorous predators usually have sharp claws, teeth, beaks, or talons, while herbivores have teeth suited for eating leaves, grass, and plants. We worked on writing and speaking activities, created wonderful paintings and drawings, and watched videos about these three animal groups. During the language focus classes, we learned about the truth behind cobra snake charmers in India. In the second class, we learned about “The Riddle of the Sphinx” from ancient Egypt. The children shared riddles they knew, such as “What has four legs but doesn’t walk?” — A table! We also talked about pharaohs, mummies, and the pyramids of Giza while learning about Egypt.

It was another fun day at the end of this month! Our theme is Wild Animals. We sang three animal songs and had fun using gestures. After lunch, we went outside and played on the field.
During our Fun Learning time, we learned about Setsubun with EY2. The children threw balls at a demon mask on a plastic bottle and shouted, “Devils out, good luck in!” We ended the day with a craft activity. Everyone had so much fun!
月末の楽しい一日となりました！今月のテーマは「野生動物」です。動物の歌を3曲歌い、ジェスチャーを使って楽しみました。昼食後は外に出て、フィールドで遊びました。

We started a new topic on animals: Zoo Animals. We shared which animals we can see at the zoo and learned about each animal’s characteristics and unique features. During phonics time, we reviewed sounds from A–L by circling the sounds the teacher called out, and then learned new sounds from M–P.
For Fun Learning, we celebrated Setsubun with EY1 by throwing balls at the oni to drive away evil spirits. For craft time, we painted a lion’s mane and colored its face.

Although it was cold outside, we stayed warm by using our imaginations and visiting our animal friends in the rainforest! After circle time and our morning snack, we went on our second rainforest safari and learned about some rare animals, such as tapirs and piranhas.
We learned how to tell the difference between a jaguar, a leopard, and a cheetah, and talked about the most famous rainforest in the world — the Amazon. During language focus, we built sentences using our sight words and added the new word “we.” After lunch, we played an animal matching game and completed our rainforest art project. We had a great time learning about jungle animals!
外は寒かったですが、想像力を使って熱帯雨林の動物たちに会いに行き、楽しく過ごしました。サークルタイムとスナックの後、2回目のレインフォレスト・サファリを行い、バクやピラニアなどの珍しい動物について学びました。

Today in PY4, we started the day with English games and a discussion about the animals of the world that we have studied so far. This term, we have learned about Arctic and tropical animals.
In Language class, we finished our National Geographic unit, Life at the Beach, and discussed beach safety tips. The weather was clear and sunny, so students played outside after lunch. In the afternoon, we watched a Learn Bright video about rainforest animals and went to the Art Room to paint Arctic and rainforest animal pictures. Next week, we are looking forward to learning about desert animals.
PY4では、英語ゲームと、これまでに学習した世界の動物についてのディスカッションから一日を始めました。今学期は北極の動物と熱帯の動物について学んでいます。

In PY5 today, we focused on mammals. We watched a video about mammals in the wild, including predators and prey, as well as domesticated animals such as pets and farm animals.
In Language Focus class, we learned about Groundhog Day in America, and some students shared their experiences of celebrating it while living in the U.S. In Science, we learned why sunsets appear red or orange. We discussed how light travels in waves and how particles in the air scatter shorter light waves, which is why we see different colors in the sky and in rainbows.
PY5では今日は哺乳類について学習しました。野生の哺乳類の捕食者と被食者、またペットや家畜などの身近な動物についてのビデオを見ました。

Our theme was Farm Animals and Pets, and the students enjoyed guessing animal sounds, completing a farm animal puzzle, and doing a color-by-number activity. After lunch, we went outside and had fun playing on the playground. For our language focus, the students matched the first four letters of the alphabet, including uppercase and lowercase letters. We ended the day with a craft activity, where they finished their animal paper plate crafts from last week. When asked what they enjoyed the most today, they said, “Crafting and playing on the playground were fun!”

We continued learning about farm animals and pets and sorted which animals live on farms and which live in houses. We also played animal musical chairs and practiced saying, “I have a …”. During phonics time, we reviewed the A–H sounds and learned new sounds from I–L. We also played a phonics fishing game. For Six Bricks, we joined EY3 and passed a LEGO brick around the circle using one finger, then played a color memory game. For our craft, we finished our Red Hen project and decorated the eggs inside.

We continued our exploration of the animal kingdom. After circle time, where we practiced asking each other questions and reporting the answers, we learned about the different types of rainforests in the world. Then we went on a safari, learning about sloths, monkeys, apes, pythons, and more. We practiced our sight word of the day, “see,” while exploring. After lunch and recess, we enjoyed learning a new Six Bricks game and then worked on our rainforest craft, which we will complete next week.

We started the day with a discussion about all of the animals we have learned about so far. We then had a mini geography lesson on the areas where these animals live, focusing on the Arctic and tropical regions of the Earth. We have been studying speaking and writing in sentences, so today we reviewed how to use the verb “to be” correctly in singular and plural forms. It was a nice day, so the students went outside to play in the field and on the monkey bars after lunch. We also watched a Learn Bright video about the fascinating animals that live in the tropical rainforest and wrote about our favorite rainforest animals. It was a fun and energetic day for everyone!

We quickly reviewed different outdoor activities such as having picnics, canoeing, and swimming in the river. Then we learned about explorers who travel through the wilderness and across various landscapes. One explorer we learned about was Jade Hameister, who became the youngest person to ski to the North Pole at the age of 14. We also practiced how to ask questions about past activities using the 5W question words (Who, What, When, Where, Why).

ピクニック、カヌー、川遊びなど、屋外で行うさまざまな活動について復習しました。その後、自然の中を探検する探検家について学びました。 特に、14歳で北極点までスキーで到達した史上最年少の探検家、ジェイド・ハマイスターについて知りました。また、「Who・What・When・Where・Why」の5Wを使って、過去の出来事について質問する練習も行いました。

Hello everyone. 

We focused on reptiles and nocturnal animals. We watched a video of the late “Crocodile Hunter,” Steve Irwin from Australia, as he got up close with snakes and crocodiles to teach people about these reptiles. In language class, we learned about the life and art of Vincent van Gogh. We also looked at Pablo Picasso and other artists the students are interested in, expanding our art vocabulary through discussion and sharing our opinions. It was a fun day!

言語のクラスでは、画家フィンセント・ファン・ゴッホの人生と作品について学びました。また、パブロ・ピカソなど、生徒たちが興味を持っている芸術家についても取り上げ、意見交換を通して美術に関する語彙を広げました。とても楽しい一日でした。

EY 1 (Mr Rafael) 

We started our day with our fun routine. The children are showing a lot of improvement in using classroom language. For our theme, "Farm Animals," we sang the song "Old MacDonald" again and became more familiar with it. Today, the weather was warm, so the children went to the playground and used some of the school's bicycles.

The last activity was a craft, where we started making paper plate animals. Each child made the animal they liked best, and we will continue the craft next week. Everyone had fun today. See you next week!

楽しいルーティンで1日を始めました。子どもたちは教室での言葉の使い方が大きく上達してきています。テーマ「農場の動物」では、再び「Old MacDonald」の歌を歌い、歌にさらに親しむことができました。今日は暖かい天気だったので、子どもたちは校庭で遊び、学校の自転車も使って楽しみました。

最後の活動はクラフトで、紙皿を使った動物作りを始めました。子どもたちは自分の好きな動物を作り、来週もこのクラフトを続けます。みんな今日も楽しく過ごせました。来週また会いましょう！

EY 2 (Ms Guitar) 

We did our regular circle time routine and played a pairs-matching weather card game. During theme time, we continued learning about animals. We learned how farm animals live, what sounds they make, and what each farm animal can produce, such as milk and wool.

During phonics time, we reviewed the A–D phonics sounds from last week and learned new phonics sounds from E–H. For craft time, we read a book called The Red Hen and started painting and coloring different parts of the hen’s body.

いつものサークルタイムのルーティンを行い、天気カードのペアマッチングゲームで遊びました。テーマの時間では、動物について学びを続けました。農場の動物がどのように暮らしているか、どんな鳴き声を出すか、また牛乳や羊毛など何を生み出すかを学びました。

フォニックスの時間では、先週のA～Dの音を復習し、新しくE～Hの音を学びました。クラフトの時間では、『赤いめんどり』という本を読み、めんどりの体の各部分を塗ったり色を付けたりしました。

We enjoyed the sunny weather today! We began with circle time, asking each other how we are doing. We continued learning about Arctic animals and made Arctic sun catchers to celebrate our favorite animals. The children practiced using the word of the week, and, and also enjoyed reading some books in the library. Everyone had a fun and engaging day. See you next week!

PY4 & Group A  (Ms Cindy):
We started the day with ice breakers and English games. We welcomed some new students to our class, so it was fun to get to know each other and practice common English phrases used when meeting new people.

Afterwards, we watched a PowerPoint presentation on this term's theme, programs and workshops. During Theme Time, we watched a Scholastic video about animals that live in the Arctic.

In art class, we made Arctic animals out of paper rolls and colored paper. The students were very creative! Some made orcas, Arctic hares, Arctic foxes, and even a snowy owl.

In Language class, we learned new vocabulary about life on the beach and practiced writing sentences using the new words. We also started a new reading program, and students had time to read with the teacher. It was a very productive and fun day!

今日は、アイスブレイクや英語のゲームで1日をスタートしました。新しい生徒も加わったので、お互いに自己紹介をしたり、新しい人に会うときに使う英語のフレーズを練習したりして楽しく過ごしました。

その後、今学期のテーマ「プログラムとワークショップ」に関するPowerPointを見ました。テーマの時間では、北極に住む動物についてScholasticの動画を視聴しました。

アートの時間では、紙の芯や色紙を使って北極の動物を作りました。子どもたちはとても創造的で、シャチ、北極ウサギ、北極ギツネ、さらにはシロフクロウまで作りました。

言語の時間では、ビーチの生活に関する新しい単語を学び、それを使って文章を書く練習をしました。また、新しい読書プログラムも始め、教師と一緒に読書を楽しみました。とても充実した楽しい1日でした！

PY5 & Group C (Mr Julian) 

Hello everyone! In PYP5 today, we did many group activities.

In our new theme, "Animals and Their World," we focused on amphibians. We watched videos on the life cycle of frogs and learned about the amazing environments where amphibians live. We also played games and did activities to reinforce animal classification groups. Next week, we will learn about reptiles.

In Language class, the topic was the human sense of smell. We learned a lot of new vocabulary and discussed our favorite and least favorite smells. We explored how aromas can trigger memories and how certain fragrances are used in marketing—from soaps and hospitals to workplaces to sharpen the mind. We also talked about how scents can relax, stimulate, or uplift us.

It was fascinating to hear each student’s very different opinions about which smells are pleasant or unpleasant. Some students actively use scents in their daily lives for various reasons, which led to lively and fun discussions!

みなさん、こんにちは！PYP5では、今日は多くのグループ活動を行いました。

新しいテーマ「動物とその世界」では、両生類に注目しました。カエルのライフサイクルの動画を見たり、両生類が住む驚くべき環境について学んだりしました。動物の分類を確認するためのゲームや活動も行い、来週は爬虫類について学ぶ予定です。

言語の時間では、人間の嗅覚について学びました。新しい語彙をたくさん覚え、好きな匂いと苦手な匂いについて話し合いました。香りがどのように記憶を呼び起こすか、またマーケティングでどのように使われているか（石鹸や病院、仕事場での集中力アップなど）についても学びました。香りが心を落ち着けたり、刺激したり、気分を高めたりする方法についても話し合いました。

それぞれの生徒が好ましいと感じる匂い、苦手な匂いについて非常に異なる意見を持っていて、とても興味深かったです。日常生活で香りを積極的に使っている生徒もいて、活発で楽しい議論になりました！

EY 1 (Mr Rafael) 

We started with circle time, practiced basic greetings, and used simple classroom language. During theme time, we talked about pets and farm animals and the sounds they make. For our language focus, we continued working on the letters Wand X.

After lunch, we had fun playing on the school playground. To end the day, we had a Six Bricks lesson with EY2. We learned the brick colors, played passing games, and practiced sorting.

サークルタイムからスタートし、基本的なあいさつや教室で使う簡単な英語表現を練習しました。テーマタイムでは、ペットや農場の動物について学び、それぞれの鳴き声について話し合いました。言語学習では、アルファベットの W と X を引き続き練習しました。

EY 2 (Ms Guitar) 

We introduced ourselves to each other, reviewed the calendar, and practiced counting from 1 to 30. During theme time, we learned about animals and categorized which animals are pets and which are not. We also learned what sounds pets make, where they live, and what they usually eat.

For phonics, we sang the ABC song to review and learned the A–D phonics sounds.

In the afternoon, we made fish using tissue paper, decorated them, and placed them into plastic bags as their “houses.” We also had Six Bricks time with EY1. We practiced transferring LEGO® bricks using paper and sorting the bricks by color while balancing them on a spoon.

EY 3 (Mr Damon):

This morning, we learned a new circle time routine. After snack time, we learned about animals in the Arctic and the differences between the Arctic and Antarctica. We also learned about the word “the” and finished the day by making Arctic animal puppets and still-life pictures. What a fun first day of learning together!

朝は新しいサークルタイムのルーティンを学びました。スナックの後は、北極（アークティック）に住む動物たちや、北極と南極（アンタークティカ）の違いについて学習しました。 また、英単語 「the」 の使い方を学び、最後は北極の動物パペットや静物画（スティルライフ）を作りました。 みんなで楽しく学べた、素晴らしいスタートの一日でした！

PY4 & Group A  (Ms Cindy):
We were excited to welcome two new students to our class and reconnect with old friends! We talked and wrote about what we did over the winter break and discussed what we will be studying this term. 

We began theme time by learning the names of some common animals from around the world and discussing their characteristics. We also looked at animals that live in the Arctic.

In Language class, we started a new unit in our National Geographic textbook about beach vacations. Since it was a beautiful day, we went outside to play after lunch. In the afternoon, we got to know each other better by playing English games and completing a class questionnaire.

Finally, we had Library time with Ms. Yuki. All in all, it was a wonderful day!

新しいお友だち2名を迎え、久しぶりに再会したお友だちとも楽しい時間を過ごしました。冬休みに何をしたかを話したり書いたりし、今学期に学ぶ内容について話し合いました。

テーマタイムでは、世界によく見られる動物の名前や特徴について学び、北極に住む動物についても調べました。

ランゲージの時間には、ナショナルジオグラフィックのテキストを使って「ビーチバケーション」に関する新しいユニットを開始しました。お天気がとても良かったため、昼食後は外で元気に遊びました。午後は、英語ゲームやクラスアンケートを通して、さらにお互いを知る時間を持ちました。

最後は、由紀先生と図書の時間を過ごしました。とても充実した一日でした。

Group B (Ms Kayla): 

We practiced asking and answering different WH-questions as a warm-up. Then, we watched a short video about a magician and reviewed irregular past tense verbs. This helped students complete their writing about what they did during the winter break.

ウォームアップとして、WH疑問文（Who / What / When / Where / Why など）の質問と答え方を練習しました。その後、マジシャンの短い動画を見て、不規則動詞の過去形を復習しました。これにより、冬休みに何をしたかについてのライティングを仕上げることができました。

PY5 & Group C (Mr Julian) 

We warmed up by talking about what we did for Christmas and New Year’s. 

We learned about the differences between mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and other animal groups, and played a game to help memorize the classifications.

For language focus, the topic was blues music. We learned about its origins and had a lively discussion about music in general. Students each chose a song to share and explained what they liked about it using music-related vocabulary. It was wonderful to hear new music and learn why students enjoy different styles.

クリスマスやお正月に何をしたかを話して、ウォームアップを行いました。

哺乳類・爬虫類・両生類など、さまざまな動物の分類の違いについて学び、分類を覚えるためのゲームにも取り組みました。

ランゲージフォーカスでは「ブルース音楽」がテーマでした。ブルースの起源について学び、音楽全般について活発なディスカッションを行いました。生徒たちはそれぞれお気に入りの曲を紹介し、音楽を表現する語彙を使って、どんなところが好きかを説明しました。さまざまな音楽に触れられ、異なる好みやスタイルを知ることができる、楽しい時間となりました。

Thank you for joining us for the Celebration of Learning. The fall term came to a wonderful close with the students’ fantastic performances. Here is a recap from each group.

EY 1 & 2 (Mr Rafael) 

We danced and played with a Christmas theme this week. We also had rehearsals together with the other groups. Everyone was a little nervous, but they did a great job in the final performance. I am very impressed by the big improvement our students have shown. We look forward to seeing you all in the winter term!

今週はクリスマスをテーマに、ダンスやゲームを楽しみました。また、他のクラスと一緒にリハーサルも行いました。みんな少し緊張していましたが、本番ではとてもよく頑張ってくれました。子どもたちの大きな成長に、とても感動しています。

EY 3 (Ms. Anna):

Today was the last day of the term and our Celebration of Learning. We practiced very hard for the Christmas concert, so we truly hope that all parents and caregivers enjoyed our performance!

After circle time this morning, we had a rehearsal in the gym. We practiced walking nicely onto the stage and projecting our voices to the audience. After lunch, the children enjoyed some playtime outside in the sunshine, followed by our final practice in the classroom. We then moved to the gym for our Celebration of Learning / Christmas Concert. We’ve had a fantastic term, learning many things about our communities and the places we live in. We hope everyone has a wonderful winter holiday, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the new year. Merry Christmas, everyone!

本日は今学期最終日、そして Celebration of Learning でした。クリスマスコンサートに向けて一生懸命練習してきましたので、保護者の皆さまに楽しんでいただけていれば幸いです。

PY4 & Group A  (Ms Cindy):
Today was the last day of the Saturday School fall term. We began the day by reviewing the theme materials from the term and playing some English games. This was a very special group, and the students showed a lot of growth while truly enjoying one another’s company. At the end of the morning, we had a Christmas concert rehearsal to prepare for the main event in the afternoon. At lunch, we danced to “Danny Go Christmas” and played outside. We were very happy to welcome all of the parents to the Christmas concert and were fortunate to have a visit from Santa Claus! We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a bright and happy New Year!

Thank you for coming to the K.I.S. Saturday Program’s Christmas Celebration of Learning. It was truly wonderful to see the parents again.

I hope you enjoyed the performances. The students worked very hard to prepare in a short amount of time, and I think they put on a fantastic show.

This term has been very busy and lively. The students have made great progress and improvements, and they are developing strong social skills and teamwork. We hope to see you again next term.

We had a rehearsal for our Christmas show in the gym. Everyone was confident and excited. We then went to the library to review the rules on how to behave properly. At the end of the day, we decorated gingerbread men as part of our Christmas-themed activity.
体育館でクリスマスショーのリハーサルを行いました。子どもたちは自信に満ち、とても楽しそうでした。その後、図書室へ行き、正しいマナーや過ごし方について確認しました。最後は、クリスマスのテーマ活動としてジンジャーブレッドマンの飾り付けをしました。

EY 3 (Ms. Anna):

We talked about being good helpers to our families and friends. Everyone shared wonderful ideas confidently with the class. We learned that Christmas is about giving and sharing, and we listened to a story about children donating their old toys to others who may not have many—or any—of their own. We also practiced our Christmas performance in the gym again.
There is no homework this week; however, please make sure to practice the words to “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town”at home. The children have been practicing very hard, and we hope everyone will join us for the Christmas performance (Celebration of Learning) next week!

We had a fun and very productive day in PY4. In the morning, we reviewed our unit vocabulary by playing English games and discussing previous theme topics. We watched a video about showing respect and kindness and talked about different Christmas and New Year traditions around the world.
In art class, we designed and painted a class Christmas tree and made Christmas ornaments. After lunch, we danced and moved to “Danny Go Christmas” to use up some energy, and then we rehearsed our Christmas song to prepare for next week’s concert. We are looking forward to welcoming families to the concert!
PY4では、楽しくとても充実した一日を過ごしました。午前中は英語のゲームを通してユニットの語彙を復習し、これまでのテーマについて話し合いました。思いやりや優しさについての動画を観た後、世界のクリスマスやお正月の文化について学びました。

Group B (Ms Kayla): 

We reviewed Chapter 9 and 10, revisiting topics such as the past tense, different places in town, and various activities. It was a little challenging at first as we had to recall some concepts—such as skyscrapers and megacities—but after reviewing them, the students were able to answer many questions confidently.

第9課と第10課の復習を行い、過去形、町の中のさまざまな場所、いろいろな活動について学び直しました。最初は高層ビルやメガシティなど、思い出すのが少し難しい内容もありましたが、復習後は自信を持ってたくさんの質問に答えることができました。

PY5 & Group C (Mr Julian) 

Hello everyone,
PY5 class mainly prepared for next week’s Christmas Celebration of Learning. We made Christmas crafts and rehearsed a short dramatic play. We also practiced the songs we will sing and play for you. Everyone participated enthusiastically, and Haruno showed some wonderful guitar playing!

During our language focus classes, we learned about the pyramids in Central America and the ancient Mayan civilization, and we connected this topic to Daigo-ji, the oldest building in Kyoto. The second lesson focused on the sounds made by laughing hyenas, which introduced a lot of new vocabulary and concepts.

I am really looking forward to the Christmas performance and seeing the parents again. The students have been working very hard to put on a great show, and we hope you enjoy it!

来週のクリスマス発表会（Celebration of Learning）に向けた準備を中心に行いました。クリスマスクラフトを作り、短い劇のリハーサルや、発表する歌や演奏の練習をしました。全員が積極的に参加し、Harunoさんのギター演奏もとても素晴らしかったです。

言語フォーカスの授業では、中米のピラミッドや古代マヤ文明について学び、京都最古の建築物である醍醐寺と関連づけて考えました。2つ目のレッスンでは、笑うハイエナの鳴き声をテーマに、新しい語彙や概念をたくさん学びました。

クリスマス発表会で保護者の皆さまと再びお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。子どもたちは素晴らしい発表になるよう一生懸命取り組んでいますので、ぜひお楽しみください。

EY 1 & 2 (Sub teacher: Ms Guitar)

After reviewing the calendar, we practiced our Christmas song with Mr. Damon. During phonics time, we learned the sounds of Q and R. Then, we played a game where we helped a shark clean its teeth to review the new sounds in a fun way. During theme time, we read the book “Excuse Me” and learned what to say in different situations—for example, saying “thank you” when we receive something and “please” when we ask for something. We also talked about classroom behavior and identified which actions are appropriate and which are not. For our craft activity, we read “The Rainbow Fish” to learn about kindness and sharing. After the story, the students made their own colorful rainbow fish using shiny sparkle stickers, just like the fish in the book.

カレンダーの復習をした後、デイモン先生と一緒にクリスマスソングの練習をしました。フォニックスの時間では、Q と R の音を学びました。その後、サメの歯をきれいにするゲームをして、新しい音を楽しく復習しました。

EY 3 (Ms. Anna):

We started the day with Language Focus. We finished reviewing the phonetic sounds of the alphabet—from V to Z—and learned two new sight words: this and that. After Language Focus, we went to the gym to practice for the Christmas concert. The children have done a great job learning the lyrics to “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town”! Please continue practicing with them at home to help them prepare for their big day on the 20th. In the afternoon, we explored rules on the road and rules in the classroom. Everyone was very enthusiastic about sharing their ideas! After that, we began our Christmas craft, which the children will take home after the Christmas concert. We had a wonderful day in Group PY4! We started the day by talking about our theme for the week, “Community Rules and Laws.” We watched a Kids Academy video about what makes a community, and we discussed how rules help us show respect and kindness. In Language class, we finished our unit on “Eat and Drink,” played English listening games, and wrote about the foods and drinks we like and do not like. During lunch recess, we played outside. After lunch, we had Performing Arts with Mr. Damon, where we continued learning a Christmas song. At the end of the day, we had Art, in which we made Christmas ornaments and finished our room designs from last week.

Hello everyone,
We started PY5 today by talking about Christmas and learning some Christmas songs with funny new lyrics we created together.

During theme class, we discussed rules that help keep a community safe. We brainstormed why rules are important and made lists of rules for different places such as a shopping mall, a classroom, a playground, a library, and at home. In Language Focus, we learned about sea cows, also known as manatees. In the second class, we continued with an ocean theme and learned why the ocean has salt water. We also expanded our vocabulary with words like density and minerals. We ended the day by rehearsing for the Christmas performance with Mr. Damon. こんにちは。
今日はクリスマスについて話し合い、みんなでおもしろい歌詞を作りながらクリスマスソングを楽しく学びました。

テーマの時間では、コミュニティの安全を守るルールについて学びました。ルールがなぜ大切なのか意見を出し合い、ショッピングモール、教室、遊び場、図書館、家など、さまざまな場所に必要なルールをリストアップしました。 Language Focusでは、マナティー（ジュゴン）について学びました。続く授業では海のテーマを深め、海水がなぜしょっぱいのかを学び、「density（密度）」や「minerals（鉱物）」といった新しい語彙も覚えました。 最後はデイモン先生と一緒にクリスマス発表の練習をしました。ハンカちゃん、カホちゃん、コノミちゃんは特に頑張っていました！

今日もみんなよく頑張りました。

EY 1 & 2 (Mr Rafael)

We learned about classroom and traffic safety signs and practiced safe and unsafe behaviors. For example, we discussed why we must always wear a seatbelt in the car and how following traffic signals keeps us safe.

We also had Performing Arts with Mr. Damon, where we practiced our Christmas show song. In addition, the students enjoyed making a cute snowman craft! During Fun Learning in the gym, we played “Green Light, Red Light,” which helped us practice listening skills and self-control.

教室内や交通に関する安全サインについて学び、安全な行動と危険な行動を練習しました。例えば、車では必ずシートベルトを着用することや、信号を守ることで安全に過ごせることを話し合いました。また、デイモン先生とのパフォーミングアーツでは、クリスマスショーの歌を練習しました。かわいい雪だるまのクラフトも作って、みんなとても楽しんでいました！さらに、体育館でのFun Learningでは “Green Light, Red Light” のゲームをして、聞く力と我慢する力を伸ばしました。

EY 3 (Ms. Anna):

We learned about public amenities such as traffic lights, trash bins, and postboxes. We played several classroom games, including Red Light/Green Light, Who Am I? — Public Amenities Edition, and an amenity scavenger hunt. For our craft activity, we designed our own traffic lights with unique colors, and each student thought about what their chosen colors could mean.In phonics, we reviewed the “ou” sound and learned the sight words “am”, is, and “are”. We also had Performing Arts with Mr. Damon and practiced our Christmas show dance again — it was a lot of fun!

信号機、ごみ箱、郵便ポストなどの公共設備について学びました。クラスでは「Red Light/Green Light」や、「公共設備バージョンのWho Am I?」、そして公共設備を探すアクティビティなど、さまざまなゲームを楽しみました。クラフトでは、オリジナルの信号機を作り、それぞれの色がどんな意味を持つのかを考えました。フォニックスでは ou の音を復習し、am / is / are のサイトワードを学びました。また、デイモン先生と一緒にクリスマスショーのダンスを再び練習し、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました！

PY4 & Group A  (Ms Cindy):
We continued learning about how people around the world live in different houses and communities. We played English circle games to practice new sentences we have been learning during Circle Time. For Language Focus, we continued studying our National Geographic text and learned vocabulary about different foods and drinks.
The students were full of energy today, so after lunch, we went outside to play soccer and ride bikes. In the afternoon, we had Performing Arts with Mr. Damon, where we sang songs and moved to music. At the end of the day, we had Art class and designed our own rooms in a house. It was a fun and very energetic day!
世界の人々が住むさまざまな家やコミュニティについて学習を続けました。サークルタイムでは、新しく学んだ文を使って英語のサークルゲームを行いました。言語学習では、ナショナルジオグラフィックの教材を使い、食べ物や飲み物に関する語彙を学びました。今日は子どもたちがとても元気だったので、昼食後は外でサッカーをしたり自転車に乗ったりして遊びました。
午後はデイモン先生とのパフォーミングアーツで、歌とダンスを楽しみました。最後にアートの時間があり、家の中の自分の部屋をデザインしました。とても楽しく、元気いっぱいの一日でした！
